I have always dreamt of being an inventor, and now I am one. A childhood spent playing with circuitry and computer programming while imagining possible futures for humanity has set me up for a career in Interaction Design. As a systems thinker, I design platforms for communities to create collective value through the knowledge they share and the connections they develop.
I am currently working on developing Waniskâw, a digital art and coding platform for Indigenous high schoolers and young adults, which started as my capstone project at Emily Carr University.
I am an uninvited Cree guest on the unseeded territories of the W̱sáneć, Lekwungen/Songhees, and Coast Salish peoples in so-called "Victoria" and a proud member of Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug First Nation.
